My Son

My son I am sorry
For getting angry toward you
For something that surely
Was an accident by you
So please do forgive me
I don’t want you to run
Away and be frightened, of me my dear son
Next time I look angry
For something that’s not your fault
Go get out this poem
And keep it inside your vault
To remind me that there are somethings
That I should just let go
Because you know my dear son
I do love you so
