Sometimes all the problems I have in my life
Seem too much to bear because of the strife
I feel everyday that things seem to get worse
And may just maybe I just may be cursed
I pray and I pray very hard everyday
To ask from the Lord that he shows me the way
The way out of all of this pain in my life
And what I can do so to end all this strife
I try to keep faith
I try to go on
I try not to feel like a lonely old pawn
A pawn that is so controlled by those things
The things that I speak of are problems life brings
I try to think that our Lord really does have a plan
And the reason what’s happening so does fit in his plan
I just wish he’d show me everything I should do
And help me to feel that what’s happening is few
Yes few inconveniences they will not last long
That something is coming that will help me go on
I guess that just prayer is the thing I must do
And keep faith in God that he’ll help me go through
So Lord I’ll keep praying and keep faith that I see
The great plan ahead that you so will show me
