Just a hug
Is what I did need
Seeing this tragedy
And all who must grieve
I wanted to leave work
But felt like a jerk
To say what I did need
It just would not work
I stayed and felt sicker
The longer I stayed
I yes must be strong now
I yes must be brave
But now looking back now
I was not the only who did feel
Like fleeing, running home and
Pretending it all was not real
When I saw Dan Rather
Break down and cry
I knew yes I knew
It was ok yes I could cry
So many emotions
Yes have gone through my head
Yes I wondered and I cried for
All the families who have dead
Although our grieving
Is not over
We all now must be strong
And now work together
To show those animal’s
They were wrong
That they could not defeat us
That they truly will see
How we do live where people
Will fight hard to be free
And we will stop them
And will bring them
To justice for all
Of the murder’s they committed
Yes we will get them all
