We cannot pick the time or place
When we shall leave our earthly space
Remember it’s just not cars you see
That can be recalled by their maker, so we
Yes we each day should be prepared
To walk right up those heavenly stairs
So if you have things you should mend
You better do them as quick as you can
Because today you could be recalled
And if you were, would you be appalled
To think you’d be standing before our God
To wait to see if he gives the nod
The nod to let you in to see
A heavenly place he kept for thee
