The age of electronics
Most certainly is here
Beeper’s and cell phone’s
Keeps everyone near
There is not an excuse today
That contact can’t be made
But deep in my gut
I am really afraid
That too much electronics
Yes are in our lives
I think pretty soon
Batteries will rule our lives
Palm pilots and fax machines
And wrist size TV’s
Our clocks and our toothbrush’s
Won’t run without these
A nickle or a cadium or alcaline cell
Perhaps even our pets will have
Satellelite tracking as well
The future will see
Everyone with a chip
Inserted inside them
And we won’t take a trip
Without GPS tracking
Recording each step
I don’t know how you feel
But I feel, by heck
I will not be able
To go take a pee
Without big brother cause he’ll see
Yes everything that does happen to me
