I walked down the hallways
Before it was torn down
The old high school building
In my old home town
The classrooms were empty
The windows were broke
But voices I heard there
Oh yes and they spoke
They spoke of the lessons
That many did hear
Yes math, science and reading
Were all taught here
And one famous person
Oh yes did walk those halls
His name was Micheal Landon
But when here he was called
Called Eugene, and not popular
Was he when was here
But what he did go on to
Then, his greatness was not clear
Yes the halls now were empty
But the memories linger near
The dynamite is ready now
So I must get out of here
