Each day I see them puffing
Inhaling one by one
Not many giving a thought about
What their lungs will soon become
If they saw one who suffered from
Inhaling them for years
And how his death did bring loved ones
Yes bring them all to tears
Then maybe, they’d have second thoughts
About smoking their lives away
Oh yes maybe, they would say enough
Yes I’ll stop smoking today
