A time to reflect is so soon you see
Thanksgiving is surely a time to be
Thankful for all of your blessings so
Thankful for family where you can go
And have a dinner of sumptuous things
Turkey and pudding and cole slaw and beans
Stuffing and olives and celery
And maybe a pie that an aunt did bring
Yes please be thankful
For all you have
And pray for those people who do not have
Or invite them over
