Try this, as you travel on through your day
Look at the people along your way
Try to make contact straight with their eye
And if they look at you also try
Try giving a smile to them and say to them
Hello or just how are and you’ll send
Send them a message that it’s ok
To greet other’s you meet on your way
People who look through you
Act as if
You don’t exist, I will tell you this
These are the people who would ignor
You, if you were dying on the floor
Even if they do refuse to speak
You say something to them, try to greet
Greet them will, how are you
How’s your day
Or how are you doing, just try to say
Say something, just anything, soon you’ll see
That they also will so start to greet
Then maybe some days hense
As you go by, they will speak first to you as you go by
Just try this little thing, I am sure
Next thing then smiles will be passed, I’m sure
