We are all trying to fix things
The things that we can’t
When all those around you
Can just yell and they rant
Step back, keep your temper
Just don’t lose control
If they need to vent things
Oh just let them roll
But you need to shut out
You need to ignor
You need to take care of
Yourself, first, I am sure
I’m sure that you’re saying
But this and but that
There’s no buts about it
There is only this fact
If you don’t take care of
Yourself first, then you
Cannot help the others
Who depend upon you
But really they must learn
The same thing to see
That they must take care of
Their needs first you see
If they just neglect
What they need in their life
To make them feel happy
Or have a satisfied life
There is NOTHING YOU CAN DO
They must DO IT THEMSELVES
And then each will be able
To handle all that we’re dealt
