Tonight I saw a sunset
So beautiful you see
This sunset stirred a feeling
From deep inside of me
I wondered how such beauty
I ever could behold
And then I wondered what will be
In heaven when I am shown
Yes shown the glory awaiting me
In God’s so splendid home
To think that for eternity
I’ll spend there when I am gone
Yes when I see earth’s great beauty
I just can’t fathom such
Such much more will await me
In heaven, it thrill’s me much
Oh God of earth and heaven
And all the worlds unknown
Thank you for the earth’s grand beauty
And to me you have shown
I pray that much more people
Will think of what they see
And know if here there’s beauty
Much more will be with thee
