Some days I do awaken
And wonder what’s the use
Why should again I listen
To all this verbal abuse
Yes daily I’m bombarded
With words that do hurt me
And I just sit an listen
Because of this you see
I’ve told this person how they
Do hurt me with their words
But seems they never listen
They just keep saying all those words
Those words that I am stupid
Those words no talent see
No they have low opinion
Opinion of me
I know it’s cause they have so
So much of low esteeme
That they attack me each day
Cause they don’t think that they’re mean
No they think they say those words cause
They are just so trying to help
But if I turned around and
Gave same words from myself
And said them back to them they’d
Say I was a jerk
And why would I go say those
Those so terrible words
