Monday mornings start the blues
Cause the weekend has been used
Now we all must work real hard
So when Friday comes, play will start
We all live it really seems
For the weekend so that means
Work is just a thing we do
Till the weekend comes in view
Would’nt it be nice to turn around
Work two days, then weekend found
Could be five days, then our blues
Would be gone because they flew
