The thrill of love is often felt
But never acted upon
We live our lives and don’t commit
We just go coast along
Sometimes a chance for lifelong love
Is missed because that we
Won’t say the words that mean so much
‘I love you can’t you see’
Sometimes each person is afraid
To push the other so
The chance for love is lost because
The time to act was let go
Sometimes it’s years and oft too late
We realize that we made
A big mistake because that we
Would not chance to take
So when you feel that you have found
A person that you love
Do take the chance to let them know
And do not hide your love
