Dear President Obama.

What will you do?

The hope of America.

Now rest with you.

Will you deceive us?

Or will you come through?

The hope of America.

Now rest with you.

Dear President Obama.

Our country is at war.

Foreclosures are looming.

Gas cost more and more.

Dear President Obama.

Will things turn around?

What has an education done for us?

If there are no jobs to be found.

Dear President Obama.

What will we see?

I see so much suffering.

Will America endure-oh what will be?

Dear President Obama.

Will our first black President,

Turn out to be?

The man to rebuild our country’s pride.

I don’t know what will be.

Dear President Obama.

Yes, what will we see?

More of the same old, old politics?

Oh what,what will be?

Dear President Obama.

I am afraid for my son.

Will our economy get much worse ahead?

And to another country will he have to run?

Dear President Obama.

I am sixty and scared.

Will my hopes for our America?

Be yes dashed to the ground.

Dear President Obama.

On your watch, what will be found?

Will our Great America?

Be further run into the ground.

Dear President Obama.

Will you help us, please, please do?

All the hopes and dreams of America.

Now rest with you.
