Here I sit at 4 AM
\nEyes won’t close in sleep
\nAt least I do not have
\nTo work tomorrow
\nOr I’d be in trouble deep
\nHere I sit at 4 AM
\nWriting down a poem
\nMaybe if it’s long enough
\nMy eyes will close this poem
\nHere I sit at 4AM
\nNot knowing what to say
\nWatching out the window for
\nYes the break of day
\nNow I am yawning
\nI’ll try to sleep
\nHope I can get up
\nOr my son will be late for school
\nOh I hate staying up<\/p>\n
Did not know what to write about
\nJust could not sleep<\/p>\n
