Our genes
\nNot blue or black
\nOr tan you see
\nOur genes decide
\nJust how we will be
\nYes how we’ll be
\nYes as we age
\nOur genes yes will not
\nBe the rage
\nOur genes will say
\nHow we will feel
\nAnd how certain ailment
\nHow we will deal
\nMy Sis and I
\nSee how we are alike
\nAnd what brought us here
\nAnd not on a bike
\nA geneticist would like
\nTo see our genes
\nAnd try to figure us out
\nBut that would mean
\nPoking us full of holes
\nTo look at our blood
\nAnd really Sis
\nI know you must feel
\nYou’ve had enough
\nEach doctor as you said
\nDoes not connect the whole picture
\nThey only look at their focused part
\nI pray real soon one of them widens their view
\nAnd truly finds a cure for you<\/p>\n
