Semi sweet chocolate
\nAt least for me
\nIs a wonderful flavor
\nWhich I am savoring
\nOh weee
\nAnd getting half price after Easter
\nYes is even better you see
\nBut because I am diabetic
\nOnly a little for me
\nI will enjoy every morsel
\nAs it melts on my tongue oh boy we’ll see
\nMuch much more of it
\nI would love to enjoy
\nBut if I eat more if it
\nMy blood sugar will soar
\nAnd other parts of me will pay for this enjoyment
\nYes this old boy I am sure
\nA delicate balance everyday
\nI have in my life
\nAnd this short enjoyment
\nI must say will yes shorten my life
\nNo saying how many years yes already
\nHave I thrown to the wind
\nBecause I enjoyed many semi sweet pieces of this chocolate
\nYou can bet I have sinned
\nIf I eat sugarless chocolate
\nThat too can cause me other pain
\nAs what I have eaten is then flushed down the drain
\nSo I try to make the three ounces
\nThat I got half price last for days
