My excitement can’t be measured
\nTomorrow yes I’ll see
\nA new world opened up for me
\nAnd my fiancee will be with me
\nI am getting new hearing aids
\nAnd unless you knew
\nThe sounds that have been gone so long
\nYou just can’t know just how it feels
\nWhen they will yes come back to you
\nFor ten long years
\nI have struggled with
\nA loss of hearing and my aids
\nWere yes inadequate to help me so
\nTomorrow I’ll get two new aids
\nYes new technology will open up
\nThe world of sounds to me
\nI’ll hear the birds
\nAnd the leaves that crunch
\nUnderneath my feet, I’ll see
\nYes see and hear sounds lost for years
\nI will be like a kid who found
\nYes found his fingers
\nAnd how he could use
\nThem for more uses than he knew
\nSo I will be exploring
\nAnd will find the sounds
\nThat I have not heard in years
\nAnd I do know
\nYes truly know
\nThat this will yes bring tears to me<\/p>\n
