Yes I am a smurf
\nThere certainly is not a dearth
\nA dearth of people looking at me
\nCause when they look
\nOh yes they see
\nA funny old man
\nWith a headband on
\nTo keep his headset from traveling on
\nYes what I wear helps me to hear
\nBut when people see me
\nIt is not clear
\nJust why I am wearing a winter headband
\nThey think the senses have left this man
\nSo when they look
\nSo quizzical
\nI say I am a smurf
\nWhich makes me crazier still<\/p>\n
I am currently getting new hearing aids
\nand until I do I must wear something called
\na pocket talker, which is a little box with a
\nmicrophone and a volume control attached
\nto a headset which falls off easily. Being an
\noutside kind of box kind of guy I wear a winter
\nheadband which covers my ears so it stays and
\nI can hear better.<\/p>\n
