A love rekindled
\nIs what it seems to be
\nA love rekindled
\nA love I had for she
\nIt seems my wife
\nAnd I have grown
\nApart these past few years
\nAnd now a sickness has appeared
\nThat’s given me a view
\nA view that things she says and does
\nAre not because she hates
\nBut done because the fears she has
\nDid make her as she was
\nI am trying to be more loving
\nI am trying to understand
\nI am trying to be a better husband
\nI am trying to be a better man
\nI have asked the Lord to guide me
\nAnd to try to help her see
\nThat she can put her trust in me
\nAnd hope that she loves me
\nGod did bring us together
\nAnd helped us have a son
\nAnd now I pray to God each day
\nMuch better our lives will run
\nI don’t have all the answers
\nBut with my Lord along
\nThe road ahead I pray will be
\nLess bumpy as we go on
\nSo God is this your plan and
\nWill you help me to see
\nThe things that I can do for her
\nTo help to make her see
\nThat things will be much better
\nThat she’ll be able to see
\nThat you Dear Lord
\nWill be her guide
\nAs you have been for me<\/p>\n
