My son real soon
\nWon’t take my hand
\nBecause he’ll feel he’s grown
\nYes grown too old for his father to
\nHold his hand, yes when he is going
\nGoing out into the street with me
\nOh son when that day comes
\nWill be so hard you see, my son
\nBecause I’ll know you’re truly grown
\nThat I won’t be as close to thee
\nIt gives me so much comfort now
\nTo know I can hold you so, my son
\nAnd when you’re grow
\nA distance is found
\nBut this I hope you know
\nI’ll always be here for you
\nJust like when you were small, my son
\nMy son know I truly do love you <\/p>\n
