Apathetic yes are we
\nWe oh yes refuse to see
\nWhat is happening
\nWhat has wrought
\nBecause God yes is not sought
\nYes we people seem to feel
\nIgnoring God is no big deal
\nNot until things happen, then
\nWe turn to him and then we send
\nSend our prayers and say woe is me
\nBut it’s because we refuse to see
\nKeeping God out of our lives
\nJust brings heartache that’s what it buys
\nApathetic is not the word
\nNo pathetic is what should be heard
\nYes pathetic yes are we
\nWhen we just sit by and see
\nSee what’s happening all around
\nAnd we just do stand our ground
\nUninvolved in what we see
\nNothing will change as long as we
\nJust stand by and do nothing to
\nChange our world, now what to do
\nShould we work first in our town
\nTo bring God back in the lives around
\nIf we work in our small way
\nGood will spread and then we’ll say
\nGod can help us if we will
\nBring his message and not be still
\nGod is there he’s waiting too
\nFor us to bring him back into
\nInto our lives at home and work
\nIf we work hard and do not shirk
\nShirk our responsibilities
\nGod will help, oh yes you’ll see\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
