Tonight I read a story
\nAbout a man who walks
\nAnd most would think him homeless
\nBut he chose his life and talks
\nYes talks about his Savior
\nAnd what he called him to do
\nHe works for food and buys bibles
\nTo give to me and you
\nSo if you chance upon him
\nYour life he surely will change
\nAnd if you never met him
\nThen Jesus is his name
\nYes our Lord has said if you do
\nSomething for those who do have need
\nThen you have done what you’ve done
\nFor him most certainly
\nSo friend next time you see one
\nA walking on the road
\nAnd he asks you if he can
\nDo work to ease his load
\nIf no work you can offer
\nJust give him food or cash to show you care
\nBecause this one you are helping
\nGod will know because he’ll be there<\/p>\n
This was inspired by a story that Irene
\nCraig sent to me. And it reminds me of a
\nman who I always see around our town and
\nhe is rummaging in trash cans for food.
\nEverytime I see him I give him money. And
\none time he gave me some paperback
\nbooks as a thank you. They were not a
\nbible but it does give me a lesson everytime
\nI see him. Thanks Irene<\/p>\n
