So many times in my life
\nI have been the one
\nTo try to find the way
\nTo break down the old hurts
\nThe old gripes
\nMany years go by and things just fester
\nLittle things that at the time seemed important
\nIn hindsight seem petty and unimportant
\nBUT-as we have heard many times
\nTHE LITTLE THINGS DO COUNT
\nA snub, an offhand remark, a look you give someone
\nThese can and do mark people for life
\nIt is these little things that shape the destiny
\nOf not only families but nations
\nOn this day that we remember a PEACEMAKER
\nMartin Luther King
\nCan’t we all find a way to try to
\nMend some fences, heal some hurts
\nHelp our little world find PEACE
\nIf we can do it at home
\nMaybe it will spill over
\nInto the world<\/p>\n
