Life’s avenues I have been down
\nAnd some on some of them
\nI was driven down
\nYes many of them have been a blur
\nAnd on some of them I wished I never were
\nSome of them seem I keep going down again
\nAnd the fun ones I have not been down
\nSince God knows when
\nBut I pray that many more
\nI will travel upon
\nAnd I pray some up ahead
\nI’ll have much more fun
\nBut I guess, I guess
\nI would not be me
\nIf these life avenues
\nI had never seen<\/p>\n
This was inspired by Paula she wrote a poem with the same title. Thanks I hope you don’t mind,
