The babeling brook
\nand the cattails lay
\nalong with skunkweed
\nand the birds are fliting
\nand chirping along natures bounty way
\nI am sitting on a bench taking all the sounds,
\nsights and smells in.
\nWhile my wife takes a hike.
\nMy hip joint prevents me
\nbut I am taking it in my mind.
\nI am journeying on the trail with her
\nobserving what she finds.
\nOh yes I am doing it all in my mind.
\nThe Ashland Nature Center is really a gem.
\nSeeing the water
\nand the deer that wander by them.
\nIf you are ever in Delaware
\ntry out its try out its trails.
\nThe beauty you’ll experience
\nwill never pale<\/p>\n
