Young eyes never to see
\nOld age come to be
\nYoung eyes closed in death
\nSo many tears shed you can bet
\nYes my niece was not even three
\nWhen the Lord took her home to see
\nSee her Great Great Grandmother and other’s she’d see
\nWho had preceded to heaven before she
\nDeath is never an easy thing
\nBut at such a young age it certainly brings
\nWonders of what she would have become
\nWonders of all of the things she would have done
\nYes when you see such a beautiful young thing
\nTaken in death, it certainly brings
\nQuestions of why such a young one must go
\nAnd never see all that life could bestow
\nI guess when I get up to heaven I’ll see
\nThat beautiful child that died before me
\nAnd maybe just maybe then I will know
\nWhy oh why she had to go<\/p>\n
