The election is here
\nAnd all I seem to feel is
\nJust more and more, more fear
\nJust what is the land coming to
\nWhen the two who should be best
\nAre best of worst yes worst I see
\nAnd so are all the rest
\nOur politics
\nJust seem to get
\nMuch worse yes every year
\nAnd yet if I don’t cast a vote
\nThen this I also fear
\nSo many have before you see
\nYes died so freedom rings
\nAnd if we lose the right to vote
\nThen anarchy will ring
\nSo maybe I will go to vote
\nAnd close my eyes and bring
\nThe first lever that I can feel
\nAnd vote so I can’t see
\nYes see which worst one that I pick
\nIt all does make me sick
\nBut maybe the one who does get picked
\nWill do a real neat trick
\nAnd really make a difference
\nAnd really do a job
\nA make a monkey out of me
\nI guess we’ll have to see<\/p>\n
