Have I touched a part of you
\nThat may be hard to find
\nOr Have I reached a part you have
\nDeep inside your mind
\nThat often you have tried to hide
\nFrom others or yourself
\nHave I touched a tender part
\nOr made you laugh to yourself
\nOr just warmed up your heart
\nOr hit a touchy part
\nI know I’m not the greatest poet
\nOf course I’m sure you know it
\nBut if I hit upon a feeling
\nThat’s hard for your to hide
\nI guess that I’ve accomplished much
\nAnd it’s what I’d like to know
\nI hope you ask for more from me
\nInstead of saying go
\nThe things that make me write my words
\nAre oft inspired by thee
\nBut sometimes it’s a happening
\nThat did so cause in me
\nThe very feelings I do try
\nTo bring so you can see
\nYou know we travel through this life
\nOn the same roads other’s go
\nSo if I did evoke a response
\nOf a laugh or shout or tears
\nThen I feel I accomplished much
\nAnd hope I will for years<\/p>\n
