\nAnd so many of us ‘older folk’
\nHave so used those words
\nThe music was neat
\nAnd also when that you danced
\nYou could hold one close
\nIf you so took a chance
\nThe movies and the people then
\nJust seemed to be
\nMuch warmer, much nicer
\nAnd more families you’d see
\nYes the fifties were nifty
\nBut I’m sure that we’ll see
\nThat when twenty or thirty more
\nYears up ahead we
\nWe’ll be saying that the 90’s
\nWere much better looking back
\nAnd then also they’ll say
\nOh I wish for them back
\nThey’re much better than now
