Who sets the limits in your mind
\nYou know that if you took the time
\nThe answer you would probably give
\nWould be that when you were a kid
\nYour mother, father, teacher, or friend
\nSaid something to you way back when
\nThat made you pause and made you think
\nThat limits should be put on thee
\nIf you won’t or can’t do something’s
\nIt cause of limits that you bring
\nYes limits you put on yourself
\nYou say oh I can’t cause somehow
\nYou limit what you feel can do
\nOh to be back so when you knew
\nThat if you tried to do something
\nThat if it failed was no big thing
\nBut each time that someone not kind
\nSaid why’d you do that, in your mind
\nYou said to self oh better not
\nBecause I did not do it right
\nSo I’ll not try it I will hide
\nYes hide my feelings think my worth
\nIs lessened cause defeat was cause
\nFor me not doing something right
\nI’ll tell you this you should not hide
\nNo just keep trying and you’ll find
\nThat more confidence you will find
\nYes find those who encourage you
\nAnd do not try to limit you<\/p>\n
