Down the highway of life I’ve gone
\nAnd each day it seems
\nThat more have gone
\nGone from life to a place that we
\nPray and pray our souls will be
\nMany who I’ve known and loved
\nAre now gone, I hope above
\nAnd I pray I’ll meet them there
\nWere we won’t have aches or cares
\nAlthough I am now fifty two
\nThis for sure I’m telling you
\nI pray for a fifty more will be
\nBut I’m not too sure if that’s in store for me
\nBut I must use time the I have
\nLooking forward, not feeling sad
\nAnd pray all who’ve traveled on
\nWill meet me where I pray to be going
\nGoing to meet my Lord above
\nYes I pray, that up above
\nUp in Heaven, is where I’ll be
\nAnd the other’s there I’ll see
\nLord I pray, you’ll guide my life
\nShow me the path to go in life
\nI will promise I’ll do my best
\nWhich is not always that, I must confess
\nHelp me live my life for you
\nHelp me guide my family too
\nCause I pray we’ll meet again
\nUp in heaven as your plan
\nGive me wisdom Lord to see
\nAll you’ve planned my life to be
\nYes dear Lord it’s this I pray
\nEach and every, every day<\/p>\n
