Up and down our life has gone
\nSome days it’s hard to just go on
\nIt seems each day there’s more and more
\nOf things we never thought would be in store
\nIn store for us on our road of life
\nMany bumps have been on our road of life
\nBut I’ve tried to look ahead
\nAnd think better, than think dread
\nDreading going on you see
\nSo is not a part of me
\nFlowing with what does come up
\nIs what I’ve tried, but this stuff
\nIt’s caused other’s in my life
\nTo retreat and hide from sight
\nAll they want to do is sleep
\nRun away and not want to keep
\nKeep on trying every day
\nTo see better will come our way
\nSo I ask Lord help them view
\nBetter days will come in view
\nHelp them feel that they’ve control
\nHelp them learn to try to roll
\nRoll with punches as they say
\nWith the problems in our way<\/p>\n
