Sometimes when things are quiet
\nI feel that I can hear
\nSome voices speaking out to me
\nAnd they are very clear
\nThe voices come from no where
\nThey speak of things I see
\nThey speak about the thoughts I have
\nOr about what’s troubling me
\nThey come to me when troubled
\nThey come to me when I
\nWhen I need answers for the things
\nI wonder in my mind
\nNo they do not possess me
\nThey’re not a personality
\nThat I split to, when I hear them
\nBut they’re sure a part of me
\nThey’re echo’s of the voices
\nOf people that I know
\nOr one’s that have gone before me
\nTo eternal rest, although
\nAlthough not here in body
\nTheir spirit still is here
\nIt is inside my memories
\nAnd I hear very clear
\nYes clear the words they tell me
\nTo help put my mind at ease
\nThey do not always please me
\nBut I am always pleased
\nTheir voice, is there to help me
\nI really seek them out
\nMost times they usually help me
\nTo find ways to work out
\nWork out the things I think that
\nAn answer might not be
\nBe found, if they weren’t there to
\nTo help me so, I see
\nI see a way to find ways
\nTo work my troubles out
\nThe echo’s of my past do
