The new Millennium’s here
\nAnd now it is clear
\nAll of the fear
\nThey thought would be near
\nJust never occurred
\nSo things that we heard
\nDid never pan out
\nSo all of the hype
\nWas just of the type
\nTo make people scared
\nSo many had not dared
\nTo go out of house
\nThey stayed like a mouse
\nAll snug in their bed
\nWith covers over head
\nNo we are not dead
\nAnd all that ’twas dread
\nMust so now be said
\nJust done so to scare
\nMyself did not care
\nBecause I was aware
\nThat we would survive
\nSo I did not hide
\nI just took things in stride
\nAnd I did not imbibe
\nI watched the New Year come in
\nThen I just ran on in
\nPut my head on the bed
\nAnd then soon I was dead
\nYes dead to the world
\nAnd I started to snore
\nAnd now many t’would be bored
\nIf they had looked through our door
\nBut here is how I feel
\nJanuary 1st is not a big deal<\/p>\n
