Don’t you wish that you could go
\nBack to when you so did know
\nWorries were not on your mind
\nEveryone was awfully kind
\nWhen you got up everyday
\nJust a wondering what to play
\nDid not have to pay no bills
\nJust look for your daily thrills
\nThrills caused by just simple things
\nLike the thrill just running brings
\nRunning, laughing, playing tag
\nNow with all that’s in my bag
\nI’m loaded with oughts and shoulds
\nNot with mights and what I coulds
\nLet’s go back to when again
\nWhen you and your best of friend
\nJust took off to walk nowhere
\nCause back when you had no care
\nMaybe we’ll go back to when
\nAnd go find a good old friend
\nTalk about the good old days
\nWhen problems at feet tweren’t laid
\nOh to have it like it was
\nWhen you weren’t fighting cause
\nYou had worries where you’d find
\nMoney to pay bills on your mind
\nCan we get to back again
\nI don’t think so my friend
\nBut maybe a better now
\nWe can work for, start right now
\nTry to simplify our lives
\nTry reducing stress in lives
\nTry to be the best you can
\nThen today becomes back when
\nLooking back from now to then
\nIs always brighter seems back then
\nLooking back you can’t go forward
\nWe must just start looking forward
\nDo the things that make today
\nBetter for us so we’ll say
\nYears from now today is when
\nWe’d like to go back again<\/p>\n
