Darkness comes upon me
\nEven when it’s light
\nDarkness comes upon me
\nResist with all my might
\nSometimes I can’t stop it
\nNo matter what I do
\nDarkness comes upon me
\nDoes it so for you
\nDo you ever feel so
\nDown you can’t see up
\nDo you ever feel so
\nFull within your cup
\nThat there’s not a single
\nThing you feel could go
\nInto cup of life so
\nOverflowed it’d go
\nDo you ever feel so
\nOverwhelmed that you
\nThink that nothing better
\nWill ever be for you
\nI do try to be one
\nWho looks on bright in life
\nBut when all crumbles round so
\nIt’s hard to see what’s bright
\nWhen you feel this darkness
\nFind the switch to end this
\nDarkness that you view
\nI hope that you feel that
\nI can do for you
\nSwitch the darkness switch off
\nBut I want same from you
\nSharing, caring, helping
\nThat’s what makes our lives
\nTravel out of darkness
\nAnd journey into light<\/p>\n
