What is an aglet?
\nI’m sure you will say.
\nIt’s something that most people
\nUse everyday
\nIt isn’t somehting you use to go fish
\nIt isn’t something used to clean a dish
\nAn aglet is something
\nThat keeps something in
\nAnd it’s not the flesh that girdles do keep in
\nAn aglet when you find out what is it’s use
\nYou’ll say to yourself there is no excuse
\nYes not an excuse that I don’t know it’s name
\nBut most people don’t know it’s name just the same
\nOk the suspense I am sure is quite high
\nAnd now you will find out it’s use from this guy
\nAn aglet is those little tips used to tie
\nYour shoes everyday now you know from this guy
\nThis guy wondered to what the name for them was
\nAnd he racked his memory for days just because
\nBecause when he used them each day he’d exclaim
\nI wish I could remember, remember it’s name
\nNow you go and drive someone else up a tree
\nBecause I am sure they too use them and see
\nYes see them each day and might wonder and say
\nWhat is this tip called on my shoelace today
\nBut some people I am sure don’t say to self
\nIt will drive me nuts till I do find it out<\/p>\n
