Why oh why when I hear the phone
\nIt’s sounds far away when I am at home
\nAnd why oh why do my bones oh go creak
\nWhen I walk up stairs or go take a seat
\nWhy oh why do words when I read
\nAll go together and why do I need
\nNeed to hold paper oh far away
\nSo words are clearer tell me today
\nOld age is creeping up on me now
\nIs that the answer please tell me how
\nHow I can stop it make it reverse
\nWhat is the answer to this I’m cursed
\nYou say there’s no answer
\nYou say there’s no cure
\nI just must live with it
\nAnd try to endure
\nI guess I’ll buy glasses
\nI guess hearing aids
\nWill make me feel better
\nBut won’t stop my age
\nMy age getting older
\nI guess it must be
\nI guess I won’t hear all
\nOr be able to see
\nBut pills and some lineament
\nNow is the cure
\nTo help these old bones of mine
\nSince there’s no cure<\/p>\n
