A tear was shed by me today
\nBecause someone did pass my way
\nThis person did remind this one
\nHow special that my life has run
\nGod gives to us yes everyday
\nThe things we need to go our way
\nBut often we feel we need more
\nAnd we shove God outside our door
\nWe do not trust him try to bear
\nAll of life’s troubles as if not there
\nYes we ignore God when we need
\nHis help and guidance when we need
\nInstead of thanking him when we
\nShould be so thankful instead of we
\nYes we ignore what God did give
\nAnd just go on the same way we live
\nWe don’t ask God to guide us we
\nJust feel that he will always be
\nYes always be there when our need
\nIs so that we plead that we need
\nYes need his help because what we
\nMessed up in life we feel that he
\nWill fix it all will clear things up
\nAnd if he does that’s not enough
\nWe just want more and more it seems
\nWe want him to fulfill our dreams
\nAnd not ask him to lead us where
\nHe wants us go we just don’t care
\nSo next time when you see someone
\nWho is worse off than the path we’ve gone
\nThank God and ask him what to do
\nBefore we are in someone’s view
\nMuch worse than them and they pity us
\nSo just don’t sit there, sit and cuss
\nNo ask God’s help in good and bad
\nAnd better path we soon will have<\/p>\n
