Promise to go
\nTo church and see God
\nCause if you do
\nThen the angels applaud
\nThe choirs of angels
\nWill sing long and loud
\nAnd souls gone before us
\nWill really be proud
\nVisit with Jesus
\nGo talk to him
\nHe will sure help you
\nNo matter what in
\nYes what kind of trouble
\nOr what kind of woes
\nGo to our Lord
\nAnd do tell him so
\nDon’t make me this promise
\nJust make it to God
\nAnd he’ll help you down
\nEach step that you trod
\nJust make me this promise
\nYou will try to do
\nYes do make a promise
\nTo God, yes please do<\/p>\n
