Sometimes all the problems I have in my life
\nSeem too much to bear because of the strife
\nI feel everyday that things seem to get worse
\nAnd may just maybe I just may be cursed
\nI pray and I pray very hard everyday
\nTo ask from the Lord that he shows me the way
\nThe way out of all of this pain in my life
\nAnd what I can do so to end all this strife
\nI try to keep faith
\nI try to go on
\nI try not to feel like a lonely old pawn
\nA pawn that is so controlled by those things
\nThe things that I speak of are problems life brings
\nI try to think that our Lord really does have a plan
\nAnd the reason what’s happening so does fit in his plan
\nI just wish he’d show me everything I should do
\nAnd help me to feel that what’s happening is few
\nYes few inconveniences they will not last long
\nThat something is coming that will help me go on
\nI guess that just prayer is the thing I must do
\nAnd keep faith in God that he’ll help me go through
\nSo Lord I’ll keep praying and keep faith that I see
\nThe great plan ahead that you so will show me<\/p>\n
