Who am I ? I ask myself
\nMore everyday
\nI am not the one I was
\nThat’s what I can say
\nEach day I am so different
\nFrom the day before
\nBecause of the things in life
\nThat I have endured
\nSome happy, Some sad things
\nHave so shape who I am
\nYes I have so changed into
\nWhat I have become
\nMaybe not in your eye
\nI may not seem different
\nThan the day before
\nBut I surely have been changed
\nFor this I am sure
\nI feel that each day I live
\nI learn so much more
\nAnd it just makes me
\nTo want to learn more
\nI cannot stay stuck as the same
\nAs I am today
\nI’m growing much older
\nAnd wiser I’ll say
\nI learn things from everyone
\nAnd all that I see
\nI pray that it’s better
\nI have grown to be
\nAnd feel that there’s so much more
\nTo do in my life
\nThere were many times I surely felt
\nI had too much strife
\nI felt that twas nothing there
\nInside me to use
\nI felt I had stagnated
\nNot learned a thing or two
\nI dreaded each morning that
\nA new day did bring
\nBut this I can tell you now
\nSomething has changed me
\nI wish I knew what it was
\nThat brought to my life
\nThis way to communicate
\nTo say my words of life
\nAlthough my words may not be
\nThe best from my mouth
\nThey are from my inner soul
\nYou know this by now
\nIf you do read, much of what I have wrote
\nYou’ll understand more of me
\nFrom what I have wrote
\nI’m saying things I’ve kept in
\nNot often let anyone see
\nI’m telling what’s happened in
\nMy life don’t you see
\nI must bring this to a close right now
\nMust end these words from me
\nOr paper I’ll run out of
\nOr make you sick of me
\nYes you will get tired of what
\nI’m writing cause you see
\nThe thread of thought at the start of this poem
\nKeeps turning because
\nSo many things come to mind
\nSo I’ll just take a pause
\nSo I’ll stop now before you go
\nAnd put me away
\nI’ll stop writing anymore
\nThat’s all I can say\t\t<\/p>\n
