Forgiveness never happens
\nUntil we do forget
\nForget the hurts t’were done us
\nThe hurts ahead and yet
\nIf we cannot forgive those
\nWho caused us so much pain
\nThen God cannot forgive us
\nBecause we bring him pain
\nHe said that he’ll forgive us
\nAs we forgive the ones
\nThe ones who brought us much pain
\nSo friend we must go run
\nYes run to God when we feel
\nWe can not let things go
\nIf not then God can’t help us
\nBecause he loves us so
\nYes he sent his son down here
\nTo die for all our sins
\nIf Jesus on the cross could
\nGive up his life for sins
\nYes sins of all the world he
\nDied for on that cross
\nSo we must be just like him
\nAnd not put on a cross
\nThose hurts and pains t’were done us
\nJust give them up to God
\nAnd he’ll help us forgive those
\nAnd be just like his son
\nAnd then God will forgive us
\nAnd help us so to see
\nIf we don’t show forgiveness
\nThe he can’t forgive we<\/p>\n
