Each day it seems just more and more
\nOur thoughts just seem the same
\nIt seems the older that I get
\nOur views do seem the same
\nIt may be cause, we both are now
\nWe both are father’s too
\nAnd maybe that’s the reason why
\nWe both have the same view
\nI’m sure that aging has a part
\nWe’re both much older now
\nAnd things we viewed at 24
\nDo seem much different now
\nSo dad I don’t know if you are
\nMuch smarter or if I’m
\nJust seeing now your point of view
\nJust better now that I’m
\nYes I am in the shoes you’ve walked
\nThe issues are the same
\nBecause we have experience
\nIn dealing with the same
\nSomeday I guess my son who now
\nThinks I’m so stupid too
\nJust as I thought the same of you
\nWhen I was his age too
\nAs he becomes much older too
\nAnd he has a son too
\nHe’ll have yes have the views we do
\nThis I am telling you\t\t\t<\/p>\n
