If not for all the heartache
\nIf not for all the pain
\nThe person that I am today
\nNo would not be the same
\nPerhaps I’d be more happy
\nPerhaps more sad I’d be
\nPerhaps I’d never write a word
\nAnd then my gems would be
\nYes lost to all who read them
\nWhat say you yeah, yeah, yeah
\nI just know that my life would be changed
\nAnd probably I’d say
\nIf not for all the happiness
\nIf not for all the joy
\nThis guy who wiites
\nThese poem to post
\nWould be a different boy<\/p>\n
This was inspired by a comment made
\non one of my poems by Gloria Sarasin
\nThanks Gloria<\/p>\n
