Elvis died
\nThis day, today
\nTwenty five years ago
\nAnd thousands travel
\nDown to see
\nHis home
\nYes they still go
\nThey go to pay respects to
\nAn entertainer uncompared
\nYes many try to copy him
\nBut none no could compare
\nHis life became unhappy
\nBut he gave much joy, you see
\nHe never would think
\nThat people still feel
\nYes so much love and he
\nWould still love the attention
\nAnd twenty five more years hence
\nHis popularity will be
\nStill be breaking records
\nAnd the gates on his fence
\nWill be welcoming
\nPeople who did never see him
\nExcept in films he did
\nSo now we thank God he was here
\nAnd did the things he did<\/p>\n
