I wish that I could see things
As other’s some time do
I’d get inside their mind and
See things the way they do
I’d know where they were coming from
I’d know just what they’ve seen
Oh yes if I could walk their path
And know just where they’ve been
But until there’s a magic way
The only way I’ll know
Is to try to understand them and
Maybe walk the path they go
