My mind goes back to memories
Of bright bright summer days
Of days I took a ball with me
And I went to the park to play
And yes I did take inky
My black dog who would be
The best yes best companion
That I would ever see
I yearn for days of summer
To remember those past gone days
Those days yes days that I had
Such splendor in the grass
